About the event
This group is designed to bring individuals in need together to offer support and guidance surrounding topics related to pandemic parenting. Without a Village is based on the idea that we have been forced into a life without the support of our village for the better part of a year. Without the village it takes to manage the complexities of parenting, we are seeing higher rates of anxiety, depression, substance use and overall burn out.
We will discuss the impact on parents, share insights and teach valuable coping skills to help manage stress.
Facilitated By Carly Crawford, Luisa Di lorio and Marcia Cuviello
Special Guest Speaker: Maria Costaki Elementary Teacher of 31 years, speaker of truths and guru on parenting kids in school.
If you feel that you would benefit from hearing other parents experiences, know you are not alone and build some resilience to tackle the last bit of the pandemic this group is for you.
Topics include:
- Managing Burn out.
- Identifying triggers.
- Coping with anger.
- Letting go of perfectionism.
- Grieving Normalcy.
The goal of the group is to maintain as much sense of community as possible. We will encourage participants to log on with their cameras on, a comfy spot and a warm drink.
Investment fee is $60.00
