About the event

After running "The Gifts of Imperfection" workshop several times over the last several years, we have an updated and expanded it and are offering "Wholehearted Living: Engaging in your life from a place of Worthiness" as a workshop for our spring program.

Brène Brown describes wholehearted living as:

"Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, "No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough." It’s going to bed at night thinking, "Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging."

This workshop uses Brene's 10 Guidepoints for Authentic living as a guide while we work through topics that impact so many of us. Learning to be who we are without always wanting more, learning to let go of who we are supposed to be and learning to say NO.

This group could be helpful for:

  • Anyone who would like to be less hard on themselves.
  • Anyone who would like to work on being more present.
