About the event
We live in a world where we are consistently trying to fight against time. The demands that we put on ourselves and the demands that are put on us are difficult to keep up with. The mental load of life, along with increasing rates of diagnosed Anxiety disorders in women has lead to an increase in women in my practice that I see getting help for the first time post 30.
I see a great need for a safe space for women to come together to feel heard, valued and supported. They need a safe place to help them to discuss their stress, understand their worry, how transitions in life and body impact their mood and how it is possible to get to a place where they are feeling more grounded.Â
Learn to Let Go is a new Workshop that will go over the following:
-An Introduction to what high funtioning anxiety might look like.
-A discussion around hormones (perimenopause, menopause) and other aspects that impact how we are function.
-How to recognize anxious or self defeating thoughts and find more balance in worry.Â
-An introduction into Cognitive Behavioural Therapy strategies that can help balance thought patterns.Â
-Understand the benefits of vulnerability.Â
-How to deal with loss of self.
-Letting go of perfectionism.
-Evaluating the need to control in ones life.
-Recognizing harmful coping strategies.Â
-Finding comfort in humility.Â
