About the event
Rebekah Bender, Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapist, is pleased to introduce this introductory workshop designed to help introduce parents to the work of Greer Kirshenbaum, PhD and her book "Nurture Revolution." Rebekah has recently completed her “The Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner Certification” and is looking forward to bringing this training into her work with clients when appropriate.

"I’ve been reflecting more about why I’m so passionate about working with parents and infants. There are many reasons- but one is because I think its really hard to be a parent right now. Especially, being a parent that so badly wants to love their kids and do parenting “right”. The challenge is, how do we parent “right”?? Parenting is not something we can truly get “right”, it’s not something we can perfect. Why? Well, because each parent is different, each child is different, and the relationship between parents, children, their communities and environments…
