Caring for Carers is a support and skill building group.
Back again this fall, Caring for Carers is a staple of support at CCP and has been for almost 2 decades.
This fall, we will be adding to our facilitator line up with Shelagh Keesmaat, Paula Shepard, Andrea Driedger and Carly Crawford. Rotating therapists leading this essential group for our community.
Caring for Carers is a supportive and compassionate space for those caring for someone they love or support. Caring for another person can be deeply meaningful, but it can also leave little room for your own needs. This group, offers a consistent place to connect with others who understand the challenges of caregiving, explore the impact of caregiver burnout, and learn ways to care for yourself while continuing to care for someone else. Come as you are, without judgment or expectation.
