Owner of CCP
Carly founded Carly Crawford Psychotherapy over 10 years ago (formally Find Your Voice Counselling). As of July 2020, Carly is pleased to finally be able to have a space to provide MORE care to the community.
Carly is excited to introduce you to the team below. We at CCP maintain high standard of care and all of our therapists are licensed, regulated and follow their professional governing bodies code of ethics.
We all provide free 15 minute consults and agree to get back to client requests in a timely manner.
Why I'm Here?
There are many reasons why I decided that I wanted to go into Private Practice. Going through the mental health system and subsequently working in a not-for-profit environment helped me to narrow my interests and pursue more training. My work as the Executive Director of Danielle’s Place Eating Disorder Support and Resource Centre helped me to see the need that individuals had to feel supported, heard, and helped.
Completing further graduate studies in Clinical Behavioural Sciences along with various specialized diplomas in addictions and family and couples therapy helped me gain clarity in an approach to therapy that is based on equal parts evidence and lived experience.
I have sat on various boards and worked in Mental Health Advocacy for almost ten years and I see the need that people have to receive timely and appropriate care. Although I work in a for profit industry, my heart lies in helping every individual who needs it. Given this I pride myself on offering Psychotherapy at a cost that is more accessible than most Psychotherapists providing this level of care.
